Simple Make-up Tutorial-Sinead

As I write this blog I'm currently sat in my black plain pyjama's;rewatching Pretty Little Liars(I'm preparing myself for the Big A reveal next week ooh!) and contemplating revision as the dreaded exam dates draw closer...But yet here I am writing a blog post about a makeup look, how ironic!

To start I just want to mention that prices and websites of what I use are hyperlinked to the named product and here's a before and after picture of the look.Enjoy.

Before I apply any makeup I wash my face with a clearsil facial wash product(that I don't specifically know the name of) and moisturise. I then begin to use the  Collection Lasting Perfection concealer-£4.19. To cover under my eyes and any blemishes that appear on my face. To blend the concealer in I use the foundation Real Techniques brush from my Core Collection-£21.99. Once I'm happy with the result of this blending i begin to pump some Maybelline Dream Satin Liquid foundation in the colour Ivory as I am very pale. I can never stick to one foundation as I can always find something wrong with it but nonetheless it's an ok foundation and retails at £7.99.I finish by adding a cheap powder to keep the base in tact.
Next I fill in my eyebrows with my BeautyUK Hi-Brow Kit in the 2nd shade of brown. I simply dab my eyebrow filling brush into the little section and tap the excess powder off and lightly shape the outline of my brows.
To follow this I begin to work on eyeshadow and eyeliner. I am using the MUA Eyeshadow Palette- Undress Me Too -£4 and starting with the first beige colour which is still a natural colour but adds a all over base colour so it's clear there is a shadow on. In my crease I use the gold colour right next to the beige to add a depth and a hint of glimmer whenever my eye catches the light. Eyeliner is next and I use the Collection Fast Stroke and gently begin to create a wing and then gradually join across the lid of my eye.
Now onto eyelashes. To curl I use a cheap normal eyelash curler that retail at around £2/3 in any drugstore or beauty stands to give my lashes a lift. Then with Maybelline Falsies mascara-£7.99 I apply a few layers of this. Sweeping from side to side is the best way to create a longer lash look.
After the eye area is complete I use a blush&highlight palette by a brand called Studio that I received as a gift for my birthday back in October. The colours are very subtle and natural warm colour. I highlight my brow bone, upper cheek line and inside the very corners of my eye to make them appear brighter.
And then for my favourite part of this look, the lipstick! Okay so christmas came and I may have bought myself a MAC lipstick. Its a Lustre in the colour LoveLorn . It's a beautiful baby pink that with one layer could appear just as a lipbalm but the extra layers really adds that pop of pink which gives the makeup look a femine feel.

If you enjoyed this post please add a comment about any of the above and also if you watch PLL so we can discuss A theories! Lots of Love
                                 Sinead x
