TOP 5 LIP PRODUCTS JULY 14 | SINEAD

Its the start of the six week holidays here in the uk so what better way to kick start it off with a blog post about my favourite beauty products...LIPSTICKS. Ugh i'm a sucker for a good lipstick or gloss o the new modern crayons and I've gathered quite a few this year. Although it is very rare people see me in a full face of makeup (purely because i'm too lazy) i do often have a bit of colour on my lips and the ones i'm going to show you are my most used ones recently.



So for my TOP 5 I have: Soap and Glory "Sexy MotherPucker" ,Kate Moss,Collection and two Revlon Colour Burst lacquer balms.

Lets start with Soap and Glory. I adore this range. I basically come out of the shower smelling like I should turn into a promoter...i just cant get enough of the stuff. But i had my woes about the makeup range, i thought it was two good to be true. It wasn't. Its a fact that soap and glory are geniuses!! This lipgloss infact does give you that pout you need and you can feel it tingling and you gut the fuller lip look. I have this colour in "Candy Gloss" and it prices at around the £8/£9 mark which in my eyes is extremely pricey for a lipgloss but this was a gift from a family member.If you save the pennies then you should treat yourself with this BUT I wouldnt buy this straight away as i believe there are other products that are dupes and you can get them a lot less cheaper.

Secondly we have a lipstick from Kate Moss' range 'Kate'. Everybody raves about these from Tanya Burr to Zoella. You are given a treat once you apply this formula to your lips as luckily it doesn't dry them out. Before using any lipstick i always put a layer of lip balm to sooth them and get rid of any flakes but the moisture of these lipsticks are great! The one I purchased was number 16.The colour stay is also another added bonus and thankfully you dont have to keep popping to the loo to top up. That is the most annoying thing about wearing any lip products - you have to re-apply quite often but with Kate lipsticks , I've found you dont have to do it so much. These price at £5.49 so are easily affordable.

Collection is a re-appearing feature throughout my whole make-up bag. From concealer to bronzer to nail varnish and eyeliner. A joy to me as well is that their lipsticks are yet again another great addition to my own 'Collection' (see what i did there) . Im quite fussy about the type and colour of lipstick that i want because its always my money that i have to spend so i dont want it to go to waste on an item i will never use/wear or bother with again. I was after a statement red lipstick.Think London Bus red or Telephone box red and whilst snooping around in Boots i FOUND THAT LIPSTICK. In the form of Collection Lasting Colour "Queen Of Hearts" which is number 1.It may appear dark but i can assure you it isnt. It's perfect and at £2.99 what excuse do you have not to buy it?Another great bonus...its extremely long lasting. 

Now onto my recent obsession. REVLON COLOUR BURST LACQUER BALMS. Oooh i tingle whenever i think about the beauties!Okay some people may say they are a bit pricey for students to buy but if i save up,why not buy a couple? The two I have are called "Vivacious" which is a hot pink and "Demure" which is a nude. I havent got any lipsticks like these so i cannot praise these enough. One of my favourite things about them is how easy to apply it is. You take of the lip,swipe along your lips and the jobs done. Due to it being a crayon its like shading in on your face but with colour. The smell is refreshing and the shine to it really stays on well. Most shine lipglosses/stains i have usually wear off whenever i talk but these last for ages. With "vivacious" i discovered that it had blue undertones so it makes your teeth look whiter and i have now found myself replacing my red with this lil number. Often if i am making a trip into town or chilling with my friends and want to feel a bit more beautified but not the extreme i use "Demure" because of how close it is to my lip colour. It could be mistaken for a clear lipgloss but because it has a beautiful layer of a light pink shade it works as a lipstick. These are priced at £7.99 and for what its worth, they really really are worth the money. The moisture is lush,the colour stays on for ages and they also do them in matte colours!
